Yordenis Ugas bagged by far and away the biggest win of his career with a unanimous points decision against the redoubtable Manny Pacquiao on PBC's Fox televised card from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The 42-year-old Pacquiao looked as if he had either grown old or met a style he couldn't work out. Ugas couldn't miss him with the jab, holding ring centre as he pleased and using his natural height and reach advantages to land the harder and more accurate shots throughout.
Pacquiao has stated that he had cramps in both legs from the 2nd round onwards so could not move the way he normally would. If this is the case then we could see a rematch because Pacquiao is still a major box office draw that would offer Ugas an even bigger payday than this fight did.
Scores: Patricia Morse Jarman 115-113 | Dave Moretti 116-112 | Steve Weisfeld 116-112.
