Terrell Gausha stops Jamontay Clark in second round

Former world title challenger Terrell Gausha put himself back in the super-welterweight title picture with a commanding 2nd round stoppage win of 6ft 2 Inch Jamontay Clark from Cincinnati, Ohio in their 10 rounder on the David Benavidez vs Ronald Ellis undercard from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Gausha found his way inside the long reach of Clark and landed a hard right hand that dropped his southpaw opponent in the 2nd round. When Clark rose, Gausha pounded him on the ropes until referee Arthur Mercante called a halt to the fight.
