Brad Foster outpoints Alvaro Rodriguez for IBF International Title

Lichfield's British and Commonwealth super-bantamweight champion Brad Foster added the vacant IBF International super-bantamweight Title to his collection with a wide points win over Spanish champion Alvaro Rodriguez on the Zack Parker vs Vaughn Alexander show at the Copper Boz Arena in London.

Foster produced some beautiful boxing at times and left very few chances for Rodriguez to shine. Not that the Spaniard didn't have his moments, landing some clean shots on Foster at times and for me at least sharing a couple of rounds. The judges saw it differently, but the right man won and ultimately, that's all that matters.

Scores: Howard Foster 100-90 | Marcus McDonnell 100-90 | Terry O'Connor 100-90.
