On Saturday, 23rd November 2002, the highly anticipated rematch took place between Arturo Gatti and Micky Ward at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. This non-title, 10-round super-lightweight bout was promoted by Main Events. Gatti, with a record of 34-6-0, and Ward, with a record of 38-11-0, both weighed in at 142 lbs.
