Frank Martin vs Tarik Zaina

This looks like a rebuilding fight for Martin, but I wouldn’t call it a free night’s work. The Albright draw showed he can struggle to turn his speed into sustained control. He needs to finish combinations and move, rather than admire his work or let himself get backed up.

Zaina’s height gives him a useful starting point: establish the jab and make the shorter southpaw cover ground. I’d want him putting the straight right into Martin’s chest, then stepping away. Standing close after punching would give Martin opportunities to counter with his quicker combinations. Zaina lasted against Polanco and Johnson, so I’m expecting resistance.

I fancy Martin’s sharper feet and straight left to decide this. He must work for the openings, but I expect him to win a clear unanimous decision.
