Denzel Bentley vs Endry Saavedra
WBO Interim World Middleweight Title · O2 Arena, London, England · DAZN PPV
Why the House picks Denzel Bentley
This is a really tough one to pick. As much as I’m a fan of Bentley’s style of fighting, his opponent is on a good run of form, and he’s gotten up off the floor in the past to win. He’s a hard man, and he is not coming here to be beaten. The Venezuelan who lives and trains in Mexico is a come-forward, brawling-type boxer. This could play into Bentley’s hands, or, if he’s relentless enough, he could turn it into a phone booth war, which Bentley can accommodate, but when you have a sharp boxing style like the Londoner’s, why make it harder than it needs to be? I think Bentley is the harder puncher and technically more gifted, so given that he also has home advantage, I’m going to go for Bentley to win a tough points decision.
