Tony Harrison and Bryant Perrella ends in split decision draw

Former WBC world super-welterweight champion Tony Harrison thought he was ahead on points going into the final rounds against Bryant Perrella and took his foot off the gas when he could have won a comfortable decision over the southpaw from nearby Fort Myers at the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles, California with a bit more urgency.

The fight was entertaining enough but Harrison is too laid back for his own good at times and needs to add urgency to his work if he is to contend in another world title challenge.

Scores: Max DeLuca 116-112 | Lou Moret 111-117 | Zachary Young 114-114.
