In a captivating showdown in Glendale, Arizona, Seniesa "Superbad" Estrada ascended to the pinnacle of the minimumweight division, clinching the undisputed championship with a unanimous decision victory over Yokasta Valle on Friday night. Estrada, hailing from East Los Angeles, entered the fray holding the WBA and WBC titles. After ten rounds of intense and closely contested action, she emerged victorious, annexing Valle's WBO and IBF championships to her collection. The fight, marked by Estrada's dynamic and unpredictable style, ended with all three judges scoring the bout 97-93 in her favour.

The American champion's unique approach, characterized by frequent stance switches and a barrage of looping punches, was displayed from the outset. Estrada's strategy effectively kept the Costa Rican challenger, who came into the fight with a more orthodox boxing style, at bay. Despite Valle's best efforts to establish her jab and close the distance, Estrada's mobility and unconventional tactics posed a puzzle. An accidental clash of heads in the opening round left Valle with a significant cut above her right eye, adding another challenge for her to overcome.

As the fight progressed into the middle rounds, Valle began to adapt, landing precise right hands as Estrada navigated the ring and shifted stances. However, Estrada quickly recalibrated, leveraging her superior footwork and counterpunching abilities to maintain control. Despite Valle's aggression and the visible damage inflicted, Estrada's evasive manoeuvres and strategic attacks kept her ahead on the scorecards.

Estrada's confidence was palpable by the ninth round, where she playfully mimicked a matador, a testament to her comfort level in the ring despite the close competition. Heading into the decisive tenth round, Valle's corner urged her to intensify the pressure, a call to which she responded with enthusiasm, pressing Estrada with a flurry of right hands that electrified the audience. Yet, Estrada's earlier dominance and tactical prowess were enough to secure her the undisputed championship, a testament to her skill and determination in a bout that showcased the best of women's boxing.
