Nathan Heaney and Brad Pauls Battle to a Draw in British Middleweight Title Clash

Nathan Heaney, 18-0-1 (6 KOs), and Brad Pauls, 18-1-1 (10 KOs), fought to a thrilling split draw in their British middleweight title fight tonight. The judges couldn't separate the fighters after 12 rounds of intense action, with Victor Loughlin scoring the fight 116-113 for Heaney, John Latham seeing it 115-114 for Pauls, and Kevin Parker scoring it a 114-114 draw.

Heaney, who dethroned Denzel Bentley last November, entered the ring as the heavily favoured champion. However, Pauls, the English champion from Newquay, proved to be a formidable challenger.
