Lucas Santamaria scores upset win over Devon Alexander

Devon Alexander's comeback bout loss to 23-year-old Lucas Santamaria could be put down to weight issues or just the fact that he was unable to subdue his very mobile opponent, but, credit should go to Santamaria who lost a controversial decision to the highly touted Paul Kroll last time out but left no doubt about the victor this time around.

Alexander had to admit defeat to the scales in the week preceding the fight and Santamaria agreed to take the fight at 154lbs although he actually weighed in at 149lbs.

Scores: Mike Fitzgerald 98-92 | Patrick Morley 98-92 | Tim Taggart Sr 97-93.
