Don Haynesworth retires at start of fourth round against Simon Kean

Quebec heavyweight Simon Kean won the battle of big hitters when he forced New York's Don Haynesworth to retire at the start of the fourth round in their co-headline bout at the Holiday Inn hotel in Cuernavaca, Mexico.

The 32-year-old Kean needs to step up his level of opposition soon as his management seems to be happy keeping him facing fringe level contenders at present.

This was his fifth consecutive win since he was stopped in 4 rounds by Dillon Carman in October 2018. He subsequently reversed that loss by way of a 3rd round stoppage of Mississauga, Ontario resident Carman in June 2019.

The win over Haynesworth takes Kean to 20-1- with 18 Ko's.
