Miami based Italian Daniele Scardina had a real fight on his hands against Spaniard Cesar Nunez and survived some decent shots throughout but came through with his better boxing to stop a tiring Nunez at 2:55 of the 8th round.
The 28-year-old Scardina moves to 19-0.
