Andrei Dascalu Blasts Out Joe Jackson-Brown In First Round Stunner

Andrei 'The Boom' Dascalu (10-0, 3 KOs) notched an impressively swift victory, takingjust one Minute and twenty five seconds to secure the vacant Southern Area title against co-challenger Joe Jackson-Brown In Telford on the undercard of Abass Barou vs Sam Eggington.

Romanian-born Dascalu, based in Barnet, North London, started aggressively, landing sharp jabs that immediately put Jackson-Brown on the defensive, quickly followed by a knockdown.

Jackson-Brown managed to get up at the count of eight, only to be overwhelmed by a relentless barrage from Dascalu, culminating in a decisive right hook. This left Jackson-Brown visibly shaken, prompting referee Kevin Parker to halt the fight at 1:25 in the first round, despite Jackson-Brown's eagerness to battle on.

This victory, especially given Dascalu's prior record of only three knockouts in nine wins, has sparked talk of his potential for more outstanding achievements going forward.
