Manny Pacquiao vs Oscar Larios

On Sunday 2nd July 2006, the Araneta Coliseum in Barangay Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines, hosted the WBC International Super-featherweight Title fight between Manny Pacquiao and Oscar Larios, promoted by MP Promotions. Pacquiao was defending his title for the second time, and it proved to be a tough fight for both boxers.

In the third round, Pacquiao was stunned by a right hand from Larios, but he managed to recover quickly and responded with a series of punches. In the fifth round, Pacquiao unleashed a flurry of punches that caught Larios off guard, leading to a knockdown. However, Larios managed to get up and continue the fight.

The fight continued to be intense, with both boxers exchanging punches in the following rounds. Pacquiao, known for his speed and agility, showed his skills as he kept landing punches on Larios. The fight was broadcast live on free-to-air television network ABS-CBN and worldwide through The Filipino Channel. It was also available on pay-per-view on In Demand, HBO, DirecTV, and SkyCable. The fight proved to be a major draw for boxing fans, with many tuning in to see Pacquiao defend his title and Larios attempt to take it from him.
