Mykal Fox vs Ray Robinson

Ray Robinson’s 31-fight pro career is a who’s who of welterweight boxing: Egidijus Kavaliauskas, Josh Kelly, Yordenis Ugas, Shawn Porter. But since his June 2019 draw with Josh Kelly at Madison Square Garden, he has fought on only two occasions: in February 2022 and in October 2024, both against low-grade opposition. Hardly good preparation for facing a fringe contender. Mykal Fox is not exactly a busy fighter with two fights a year for 2025 and 2024. But he did face Serhii Bohachuk in that time and lost a 10-round unanimous decision, which looks pretty good on paper despite the loss. So we have two guys who desperately need a win to revive their careers, but because of inactivity by Robinson, I have to pick Mykal Fox to win by decision.
