This is close matchmaking, and I don’t trust either unbeaten record to tell the whole story. Delgado was fortunate against Gabriel Gollaz Valenzuela, while Biyarslanov had to dig deep late against Sergey Lipinets.
Delgado likes to stalk behind his jab and make you commit before answering. His patience is useful, but he can spend too long looking for the right opening and let rounds slip away.
Biyarslanov’s southpaw jab to the body gives him a way to disturb that rhythm and set up his straight left. He carries proper power, although Jimerr Espinosa showed he can be hurt when exchanges open up. Delgado should find opportunities for his right hand there.
I’m leaning towards Biyarslanov because I expect his body jab and more sustained attacks to make Delgado react rather than dictate. He needs to pace himself; loading up on every punch would make this harder.
Biyarslanov by a close unanimous decision.
