Age on fight night 31The fight
This should be Liam Davies's night on home soil, but Grandelli is game and comes to fight
Scouting Liam Davies
Be patient in the early rounds, Grandelli is full of bounce, but watch out for when he starts to come in square
Scouting Francesco Grandelli
Use the perimeter of the ring. Move and make Davies come and find you
Why the House picks Liam Davies
Having seen Francesco Grandelli visit London’s York Hall to do battle with Nathaniel Collins in May 2024, I know that it could be a difficult night’s work for Liam Davies if the Italian is allowed to get into his groove. He comes to fight, and he comes to win. In Davies, he faces a world-class operator whose only loss was to Shabad Masood in a fight he was expected to win. Grandelli has a habit of fighting square on, and it is for this reason that I think Davies will find a home for his backhand and stop Grandelli.
