Why the House picks Lauren Price
I can't see this being anything other than a convincing victory for Lauren Price. She's one of the most technically accomplished female boxers around, and her footwork, hand speed, and ability to control distance make her a nightmare to fight. She's not a particularly heavy puncher, but she doesn't need to be when she's consistently landing clean shots and making opponents miss.
Michaela Kotaskova deserves respect for stepping in with another top-class opponent after losing to Chantelle Cameron. She's tough, physically strong and willing to have a go, but that defeat exposed the gap between her and the elite. Against Price, she'll need to apply sustained pressure and work the body, because trying to outbox the Welshwoman is asking for trouble.
Price's southpaw jab, quick combinations and clever changes of angle should keep Kotaskova chasing shadows. I reckon the challenger will have the odd moment, but she'll struggle to sustain any meaningful success.
I'm taking Lauren Price to win a wide unanimous decision over ten rounds.
