Caroline Veyre vs Delfine Persoon

My pick is the fresher of the two fighters. Persoon is still a formidable pressure fighter despite being 40 years old. Veyre is 37, but her main boxing years were spent in the amateurs, where she won a Gold at the Pan American Games and reached the quarterfinals of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, and thus she is on the up, as they say. The only blot on the Canadian’s record is a points defeat to Joana Chavarria Lopez in September 2024. I wouldn’t be shocked if Persoon came through with the win, but as stated earlier, I’m going with the fresher fighter.
