Belfast featherweight Michael Conlan moved firmly onto the world stage with a well deserved 12 round decision over former IBF world super-bantamweight titlist TJ Doheny at Falls Park in Belfast.
The win secures Conlan the WBA Interim featherweight title for what that's worth but beating the teak-tough Doheny, including a 4th round knockdown, keeps Conlan's steady rise in opposition moving in the right direction.
