Lukasz Rozanski takes out Artur Szpilka in one round shoot out

It looks like the end of the road for Poland's former WBC world heavyweight title contender Artur Szpilka after he was knocked out in the 1st round by compatriot Lukasz Rozanski.

In a slugfest, one-round fight, Szpilka hit the deck three times, and Rozanski once, even though referee Robert Gortat counted Szpilka out at 2:25 of the round.

The fight was contested at the WBC's new Bridgerweight limit, and Rozanski, a 35-year-old from Rzeszow could now find himself fighting for a world title after 14 professional contests even though none of his previous thirteen opponents were exactly household names.
