Leigh Wood stops Reece Mould in 9th round to win British Featherweight Title

32-year-old Leigh Wood proved that experience counts when he stopped 26-year-old Reece Mould and became British Champion at the second time of asking, having lost to Gavin Mcdonnell for the Super-bantamweight crown seven years earlier.

Mould was sent to the canvas in the 4th round and twice in the 9th, the second knockdown prompted referee Robert Williams to call the fight off at 1:03 of the 9th round
