Joshua Buatsi blasts out Daniel Blenda Dos Santos in fourth round

Croydon's Joshua Buatsi showed the difference in levels when he demolished Frenchman Daniel Blenda Dos Santos in the 4th round of their headline bout of Matchroom Boxing's Manchester Arena show.

Dos Santos, despite a flawless 15-0 career resume had no right sharing a ring with the well-schooled former Olympian Buatsi. Not that the 30-year-old from Pont-Sainte-Maxence, Oise, France didn't try to win, he simply had never fought on the big-stage, nor had he faced anywhere near the level of opposition that Buatsi posed.

A 2nd round knockdown was a glimpse of things to come and two rounds later Buatsi brought the curtain down on a one-sided bout, leaving the Frenchman down and out. Referee Victor Loughlin completed the count at 2:44 of round 4.
