Isaac Dogboe edges Adam Lopez by majority decision

Former WBO world super-bantamweight champion Isaac Dogboe continued on winning ways with a great win at the Theater at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas against quality title contender Adam Lopez on the Naoya Inoue vs Michael Dasmarinas undercard.

This follows his August 2020 8th round Tko win over Chris Avalos after back-to-back defeats to Emanuel Navarrete that saw Dogboe lose, and then fail to recapture his WBO 122lb title.

Lopez has to be given credit for his spirited effort to claw back the early lead Dogboe built up, but it was just not enough to convince the judges ringside, one of whom scored it a draw.

Scores: Chris Migliore 97-93 | Dave Moretti 95-95 | Don Trella 96-94.
