Japan’s Kyoguchi Hiroto won his American debut on the Juan Francisco Estrada-Roman Gonzalez undercard at American Airlines Center, when Axel Aragon Vega landed a hard right hook to Kyoguchi's head which did serious damage to his hand rather than his opponents head.
As soon as Kyocuchi realised that Vega was in trouble he pounded away at the Mexican until referee Raul Caiz Jr stopped the fight. The time of the stoppage was 1:32 of the 5th round.
Kyoguchi retained his WBA Super World Light-flyweight Title and moved to 15 wins with no losses.
