Felix Alvarado dropped South African challenger DeeJay Kriel in the 2nd and 4th rounds before forcing the referee to stop the fight in the 10th round.
Referee Mark Calo-oy called a halt at 1:39 of the 10th round.
Alvarado successfully defended the IBF World Light-flyweight title for the second time. He won the vacant title against Filipino Randy Petalcorin in October 2018.
