Daniel Dubois scores three knockdown first round knockout of Joe Cusumano

Londoner Daniel Dubois made his American debut in style by winning his Showtime-televised bout against Virginian Joe Cusumano at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland Ohio. The bout was on the Jake Paul vs Tyrone Woodley undercard.

Having scored three knockdowns referee George Nichols ended the slaughter at 2:10 of the 1st round, thus introducing the viewers to the hard-hitting 23-year-old who moves to 17-1-0.

With instructions out of the way, it would be good to see Dubois fight across the pond more often and against better opposition. Chris Arreola, Charles Williams, or Dominic Breazeale are well-known names that might be capable of giving 'Dynamite', the monitor Dubois goes by, the challenge he needs at this stage.
