Artur Beterbiev stops brave Adam Deines in tenth round

IBF and WBC World light-heavyweight Champion Artur Beterbiev defended his titles successfully against Russian born Adam Deines at the Megasport Sport Palace in Moscow, Russia. Deines, from Magdeburg, Germany was hurt at different stages of the fight but showed real grit to keep coming back at the champion.

The challenger found himself down on one knee in the 1st round and again in the 10th when his cornerman threw in the towel.

Beterbiev is now 16-0-0 and at 36-years-old needs to find a bigger challenge to cement his legacy as the world's best 175lb boxer. Perhaps a defence against Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez would fit the bill.
