Randall Yonker, known in the ring as "Kid Galahad," was born in Concord, California on March 13, 1963. Competing in the super-middle and light-heavyweight divisions throughout a career spanning nearly 15 years, Yonker established himself as a tough and determined fighter, willing to test his skills against high-level opposition. Standing 5 feet 10 inches tall with a reach of 69.7 inches, Yonker's orthodox stance and aggressive style brought him success in the regional and international boxing circuits.

Yonker turned professional on December 4, 1984, debuting in Mobile, Texas, with a second-round technical knockout victory over Carl Orville. This marked the start of a steady climb through the ranks, where he showcased a blend of power and tenacity, traits that earned him a reputation as a durable competitor in a talent-rich era.

One of the highlights of Yonker's career was his reign as the North American Boxing Federation (NABF) Super Middleweight Champion. He captured the title by defeating Paul Whittaker and successfully defended it against Paul McPeek and Troy Darrell, demonstrating his ability to rise to the occasion in high-stakes contests. However, Yonker eventually relinquished the title in a bout against the highly skilled Michael Nunn, who was already a significant figure in the boxing world. Despite the loss, Yonker's willingness to face such formidable opposition reflected his ambition and competitive spirit.

On March 4, 1994, Yonker stepped into the ring for one of his most high-profile fights, challenging the legendary Mike McCallum at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for the WBC Interim World Light Heavyweight Title. Weighing in at 174 lbs, Yonker faced the daunting task of dethroning one of boxing's most technically gifted fighters. Although he gave a spirited effort, McCallum's experience and precision proved too much, as the fight ended in the fifth round with a TKO at 2:55. This bout, broadcast on Showtime, showcased Yonker's grit but highlighted the challenges of competing at the sport's elite level.

Yonker's final professional fight against Montell Griffin took place on February 26, 1999, at the Sho Ka Wah Casino in Hopland, California. Despite his determination, the bout ended in a defeat, marking the conclusion of a career defined by toughness and a willingness to face difficult challenges. He retired with 29 wins, 10 losses, and 0 draws, including 19 victories by knockout.
