Tim Tszyu
26-3-0
Australia
Denis Nurja
20-0-0
Albania
Age on fight night 32The fight
This should be a straightforward job for the much more experienced Tszyu against an opponent who has never fought at the world class level
Scouting Tim Tszyu
Use smart pressure from the first bell, go to the body early
Scouting Denis Nurja
Keep your form and let your hands go, combinations are needed and then slip away to the sides
Why the House picks Tim Tszyu
This fight is part of a bigger picture. Tszyu needs rounds with new trainer Pedro Diaz as he builds towards another assault on world title glory. Nurja comes with a shiny record but no major or even consequential names to show his level is anywhere near Tszyu’s. Hopefully, Nurja can give the Australian hero some competitive rounds, but I cannot see him lasting the full 12 rounds, since he has never been past 6 rounds.
