Oscar Collazo vs Neider Valdez Aguilar

This has got late-notice banana skin written on it, but let’s not pretend it’s a 50-50. Oscar Collazo is the boss at minimumweight: sharp, spiteful, compact, and he punches like a bigger man when his feet are set.

Collazo’s a southpaw who boxes using educated pressure. He doesn’t just steam in looking for war. He feints, inches forward, changes the angle, then whips that left hand downstairs like he’s trying to take the engine out of your body. There’s no panic in him, no wasted work, just proper championship craft.

Nieder Valdez Aguilar can punch, and twelve stoppages tell you he’s not coming for a payday and a photo. But power only matters if you can set it up. Against Collazo, that’s the problem. If Valdez swings wide or loads up, he’ll be made to reset, miss, and pay the price.

Valdez has to make it ugly early: lean, spoil, throw the right hand over the jab and disrupt the rhythm. But short notice at world level is a hard shift.
