But he must be cautious against Johan Gonzalez, who is heavy-handed and capable of springing the upset. The Las Vegas-based Venezuelan recently lost a world title challenge on points to Erislandy Lara, so he has been mixing in elite company. A shock win over the faded Jarrett Hurd in the fight before the Lara challenge showed that he was not scared of the big stage or the underdog tag. However, TKO losses to Yoenis Tellez and Jesus Alejandro Ramos Jr prove that he can be beaten by fringe-level contenders. I think Conceicao Sousa may have to go through some rough periods in this fight, but on talent alone, he should come through to win a points decision.
