Amanda Serrano vs Cheyenne Hanson

At 37 years of age, we must be in the last phase of the amazing Amanda Serrano’s decorated career. Serrano is currently one knockout away from tying Christy Martin’s all-time record of 32 career KOs, and she has stated that she will be chasing the record against Hanson, which should ensure fireworks. With 13 KO’s in her 17-2 record, Serrano must be cautious not to get caught whilst loading up trying to Ko the 28-year-old German girl.

Known by the moniker ‘Pepper’, Hanson has never faced the calibre of opposition that Serrano has and cannot compete in any way with the experience gained in her so far 17-year career. This will also be Hanson’s first fight outside of Europe.

All in all, a daunting task for Hanson and one that I believe will end with the knockout win that Serrano so dearly wants.
