Stephen Fulton vs Liam Wilson

This is a genuine crossroads fight. Stephen Fulton’s got the better schooling, the sharper boxing brain, and he’s mixed with serious company, but he’s carrying miles now. Liam Wilson, at home in Sydney, will fancy dragging him into a brawl.

Fulton is the slicker man. He sees gaps, takes half-steps, and when he’s switched on, he can make good fighters look like they’re punching through fog. The question is whether he’s strong enough at super feather to keep a bigger, rougher fighter honest for 12 rounds.

Wilson’s tall, strong and game. He’s got a reach like a hungry spider, and when he lets his hands go, there’s spite on the shots. But he can get square when chasing success, and that’s where Fulton’s timing can pick apart.
