South Korea's Chul Ho Kim made the fourth defence of the WBC World Super-flyweight Title he had won from Venezuelan Rafael Orono thirteen months earlier against Japan's koki Ishii who was unbeaten in nine bouts.
Kim, much the more experienced boxer, knocked out Ishii at 0:47 of round 8.
After one more successful defence against Raul Valdez, Kim lost his title back to the man he won it from, Rafael Orono.
