Argentina's IBF World Super-flyweight Champion Carlos Salazar made his solitary successful defence against unbeaten Italian challenger Antonello Melis between winning and losing the title to and from Colombia's Harold Grey.
Melis was competitive but fell apart when Salazar landed a swinging left hand in the 6th round which rocked the challenger to his boots, and after several more salvos from Salazar, the referee stopped the fight just as the towel came in from the challenger's corner.
Salazar moved down to Flyweight after his loss to Grey and won the WBO World Flyweight title from Mexico's Alberto Jimenez.
