Lightweight World champion Benny Leonard made the 6th defence of the title he won on May 28, 1917, from Freddie Welsh, against Buffalo's Rocky Kansas in front of 15,000 spectators at Madison Square Garden.
This was the second of three meetings between the pair and the champion was dominant in all three.
Kansas was on the canvas in the 11th round and Leonard went on to complete a comfortable victory on points.
