The SSR vs Estrada rematch will be shown live by streaming service DAZN in association with Matchroom USA in America, this Friday, April 26th and by Sky Sports in The UK.
Srisaket Sor Rungvisai's WBC super-flyweight title will once again be at stake. This will be the 4th defence of the title he won when he shocked long-reigning and unbeaten Roman "Chocolito" Gonzalez at Madison Square Garden back in March 2017.
The first fight between SSR and Estrada was in February 2018 at The Forum in Inglewood, California, the site also of the rematch. It was a tale of two halves with Estrada struggling to stave off the advance of the Thai boxer, who clearly had the much heavier punch. The diminutive Mexican started to win rounds when he decided he had to work at closer range.
Estrada's defence was the difference after 7 rounds. His upper body movement allowed him to counter the champion's power. Where SSR was consistently landing the more powerful blows in the early going, he now missed and got countered with the Mexican's hurtful counters.
All 12 rounds were high quality and action-packed, so we can look forward to another great match between these two, and with no degree of certainty to the outcome.
Estrada is the one that probably learned more by the end of the first encounter, but I feel that as much as the Mexican will win plenty of rounds, the extra firepower of the Thai champion will take him over the winning line once again.
SSR on a close 12 round decision once again.
