Terence Crawford vs Egidijus Kavaliauskas
WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford had a harder than usual night against his mandatory challenger Egidijus Kavaliauskas.

The Lithuanian had a third-round knockdown disallowed by referee Rickey Gonzalez and was floored three times by Crawford who seemed to want to put on a dominant display for the fans.

Kavaliauskas was put down twice in the 7th round and once in the 9th, but was in one of Bud's more entertaining title defences so he will be in demand even though he failed to take the crown form the 32-year-old P4P star.

Crawford gave an exciting performance tonight and hopefully, that will help to secure him the career-defining fights he craves so much.

Richard Commey vs Teofimo Lopez
Teofimo Lopez started to show why those close to him believe he is the best lightweight on the planet when he won the IBF lightweight crown by 2nd round Tko from Ghanian Richard Commey.

Not too many pundits expected the 22-year-old from Brooklyn to deal with the tough African quiet so quickly but when Lopez dropped Commey with a great right-hand in the 2nd round the writing was on the wall. Comey got up too quickly and had to go back down, but was up in time to beat the count. Lopez jumped straight on his wounded foe and landed some heavy blows that forced referee David Fields to stop the contest at 1:13 of the round.

Lopez is now likely to meet Vasiliy Lomachenko with all the Lightweight belts on the line early in 2020.

Michael Conlan vs Vladimir Nikitinin
Rising Irish featherweight star Michael Conlan did what he needed to do in getting a deserved win over Russian nemesis Vladimir Nikitin, the man, that was wrongly awarded a decision win when the two met in the quarter-final of the 2016 Olympic Games.

Conlan won their 10 rounder by unanimous decision, the judges scoring the contest: Bernard Bruni 100-90 | Kevin Morgan 98-92 | Pasquale Procopio 99-91.

Nikitin is a handful for anyone who doesn't have the power to hurt him. His pressure is relentless and the professional game suits him better than the amateurs, so this fight showed that Conlan has the beating of the Russian whether it's with or without a vest on.
